50 natural wine corks #9 44x24

These corks will have to last as I plan on aging this vintage for a long while. I could feel them fitting tighter than the agglomerated corks I’ve used previously. Definitely anticipate a better seal.

No complaints. It is a good quality Natural Portuguese corks.

Great corks for longer term wine storage. You’ll want to use a good floor corker with the #9. If you’re using a hand corker, go with the #8.

They work great

I used 25 of these in one batch of Cider, three of the corks re-expanded forcing themselves out of the bottle. I'd have written this off to a re-start of fermentation but had no issue with the others doing this. Roughly half of them though had seepage through the cork. Supposed to be premium, grade A, natural corks. I guess I need to go back to synthetic. EDIT: Slimcork has gone well out of their way to make this right offering best practices information and a refund for the product. I told them a refund is not necessary but they did it anyway. Appreciate the customer support!

I make several cases of wine a year and these look like nice quality corks from Portugal (the cork capital). There are better quality corks out there, but these are a nice step up from what I have been using and they seem like great quality for the money. They are good looking with no advertising on them and seem to seal nice. Can't wait to use them on my wine batch this year. Time will tell on the true quality of longevity.

We used these with a large floor corker and they worked perfectly for the wine bottles we have. They were easier to insert after wetting them with sanitizer. Also no problem removing from a bottle.
