It is perfect for my kitchen and so easy to use and refill with water. It looks great, tastes great and operates as it should. I love it! My only complaint is the cost of the replacement filter which is $30. I am afraid to try the cheaper brand that is supposed to fit my machine. All in all this unit is perfectly.

Our previous condo had a connected water filter system in our kitchen as well as filtered ice and water through a refrigerator filter. We love this relatively inexpensive Brita hub to improve the taste of our city water by filtering in our new condo. Water taste changes with every rain event it seems in our home city so this device makes staying hydrated fast, flavorful and inexpensive.So far the hub is easy to use, filters work well and seem to last a long time. Convenient for coffee, tea and to fill water bottles to take along for exercise.

Set up the unit and all went well until I tried to filter water through the system. I can hear the pump running, but no water comes through the system. $150 water filter that doesn't filter water - what a bargain! I bought a "brand name" to avoid this silliness, so now I've spent time setting it up, trying everything to make it work, and now I'll have to spend even more time returning the dumb machine. Not thrilled, to say the least.Update two days later: I was so frustrated with the unit not working that I waited a couple of days to pack it back up for return. I left the water in the tank and just walked away from it. When I went back today, I just plugged the unit in, thinking "what the heck, maybe it will work today." I pressed the water dispensing button and it began to work fine. I have no idea what changed - I had plugged and unplugged it multiple times before in hopes of a "reset", but today, it worked. Seems to work now as advertised, so I'm changing my rating from 1 start to 3. It shouldn't be this difficult....

This is an excellent machine, great for family. Convenient to use, water tastes great. Water refill is easy. Machine is a bit loud to use at night.

I stumbled upon this filter system after looking for a more convenient way to get purified water. As someone who does not have a filtration system integrated into the faucet, nor a fridge, this was a very useful buy. Having instant filtered water is absolutely fantastic - we were always very jealous of the fridge-integrated solutions.The device itself is setup pretty easily with some customizations possible in terms of the water tank location. The filter snaps into place, making all these steps a breeze. The filtered water taste is nice, and the overall noise level is also not too bad (for the few seconds it takes to fill up a glass). There are only three buttons to dispense the water - from a 12oz and 20oz option, to a free-flow option where it dispenses water as long as the button is pressed. Having used all buttons, I think these were well chosen.Now, having had lots of experiences with previous (passive) water filters, such as Pur or Brita, I was hoping that this active pumping through the filter would extend the lifetime of the filter. Unfortunately I was wrong. The included filter is advertised for six months, but had to exchange it only after three months (May til August). Given the high pricepoint of these specialized filters, I found this rather disappointing. Our potable tapwater is already relatively clean, so I find it hard to believe that the filter are "bad".Having said that, overall, the advantage for our household of three is to have almost instantaneous, freshly filtered water - and its fantastic. While it does not chill (or heat up) the water, we are happy to have purchased this machine.Summarized, you should consider the following pros and cons:Pro:+ Instantaneous, filtered water though active water pumping through filter+ Can be located pretty much anywhere where it can be plugged in (thus highly portable)+ Relatively robust design+ Easy setup and somewhat nice-looking exterior+ Well-established brand (with its filter issues, see below)Cons:- The filter problem still exist - depending on usage and water quality, expect to exchange the filter far more frequently than advertised- There is some energy consumption compared to passive filtering- The buttons feel a bit cheap (plastic)- Overall price point is pretty high for a glorified water pumpOther considerations:~ No chilled, or heated water~ The water tank can be designed a bit larger~ Wetting and cleaning the filter for the first time after insertion takes a while~ Likely no filtration benefit over a fridge-or faucet-integrated systemGiven such a niche product, I would give this a 4 stars. We are happy about it, but mainly because we do not have an alternative (fridge filters, RO system) that we can use.

 Brita Hub is exactly what its name says “Powerful countertop filtration” and not to forget Instant. We have been using other Brita filters with Brita pitchers and water dispensers for last several years but Brita Hub is a game changer. It looks amazing and takes very little space and works right at the touch of your finger! Water tastes good and easy to pour and easy to refill. We love it, our kids love it and our guests always keeps asking about it and how cool it looks. Perfect fit for our kitchen countertop! Easy to clean water reservoir and seems low maintenance so far.It does make little noise when filtering water but not a big deal especially given that it filters water instantly without any wait.The buttons are extremely easy to use and makes it much easier to fill cups and bottles instantly. Great purchase!

Going from having filtered water and ice available in the refrigerator door to only an icemaker needed a solution. This is it! Easy to use/refill and filters are inexpensive. Good, drinkable water is so important for health and this tabletop system makes it so easy!

Trying to reduce micro plastics from our environment. They're everywhere. The water does sit in plastic container but gets filtered before drinking. Does the Brita filter remove micro plastics? Not sure. Have tried researching exactly what the filter removes. It seems that it will remove larger particles (lead, iron, copper, eh?). Only reverse osmosis will remove the tiny poisons. Anyway, am drinking more water now. My one complaint is that it is a little noisy. Prolly no louder than my Keurig coffee maker but just a little annoying.

We use the Brita Hub machine every day; even so, the filter lasted a long time.To re-set the button to get a green light, you need to need to press it a few times, which I found out by error.

distilled water was used. == 6 month filter lasted 3 months. Still a great product!!

I didn’t even use two weeks. It’s running out.
