Without a doubt the best garlic press on the market. I've used a bunch of different types and brands and for the most part, they all function the same. However, the design of this press is next level. Having two separate pieces that come together super easy and act as the joint is amazing. It took maybe one or two uses to get used to inserting the top section into the bottom but it's still very easy to use even during that learning process. Being able to separate the two parts with no effort makes inserting garlic and cleaning the device SO EASY. Cleaning garlic presses has always been a pain to do and if you stick them in the dishwasher, even stainless ones start to have issues with the joint. There's no joint here and since the two parts separate, it's easy to access the press area. Not to mention, the top part is designed to be used to scrape the garlic off the bottom when it doesn't shoot out all the way AND it fits perfectly in the pressing bed so it scraping out the skins is fast and easy. Now I use the top handle instead of a paring knife or my fingers. The handles are well shaped and sturdy. The handles separating doesn't cause any problem whatsoever with use. I will never buy another garlic press and have recommended it to all my friends who enjoy cooking.Look no further. This is the perfect garlic press.

This garlic press really works. The metal is smooth and well made. I have several different ones at my house, but I never really thought they worked well. This one is excellent and soooo easy to clean. Definitely worth the price.

I like this garlic press, the heaviness lends to the durability of it. I like that’s its dishwasher safe without the dulling and pitting of other types I have tried. The 2 part design does not bother me. It does work on non-peeled cloves which I like, and yes you have to clear the peel after every clove but that doesn’t take near as long as peeling by hand. It takes strength to press a clove with the peeling on, more so than peeled cloves. It washes quickly except for the holes. I like low maintenance tools but this part is tedious to clean the garlic out of the holes. I’m surprised the manufacturer doesn’t include a plastic piece fitting the holes to easily poke the garlic out of the holes. I use a rather large nail to poke it out but that is time consuming since I can only do 1 at a time. This is the only drawback I find with this garlic press.

This garlic press is easy to use and especially easy to clean. It is very heavy duty. I love that it has 2 different hole sized levers. I can't say enough about how much I like this garlic press.

I've owned a lot of different garlic presses over the years and they all eventually break at the pivet point. Many of them are either hard to clean, aren't self-cleaning, Don't press with the skin on.There's lots of variations but this one seems unique.It's expensive , but i'm pretty sure it will be the last garlic press that I ever have to purchase.It's strong enough to press with the skin on, It's self cleaning is a little wonky but does work. If this pivot point breaks from normal usage, then you are the incredible hulk. This is a two pack , does fine and coarse garlic pressing. Quite useful option but If you would like to save a little bit of money , just get the fine one.This company also makes a few other tools that I am considering as well solely because of how well this one is constructed.I am all about making my prep to be quicker faster and easier. This is a tool I will use for years to come.

I had requested this product in early November of 2023. This garlic press was designed with practicality and constant usage in mind, and its simplicity is outstanding. This is a lifetime investment. There are no moving or removable parts like buttons, hinges or screens. There is nothing even to break. There are just three hefty pieces of solid, moulded stainless steel.WHAT YOU GET:All the items are well packaged in a sturdy cardboard box for shipping. The total weight of the three stainless steel parts, without the packaging, is 384 g (13 5/8 oz). The top handle weighs in at 137 g (4 ¾ oz.), while the fine mince arm is 125 g ( 4 3/8 oz.), and the course mince arm is 123 g (4 ¼ oz.). All three pieces have ergonomically curved handles. Notice how robust and heavy the pieces are. The top handle is interchangeable between both the fine and coarse arms. I would recommend washing the items before use. This product is also dishwasher safe.The manufacturer states that there is no need to peel off the skin of each garlic clove for the press to work. But there are two types of skins on each clove of garlic. The first is an outer 'paper' skin. You have to remove this paper skin or it will become lodged entirely against the holes in the press, preventing any pressed clove from coming out. Then there is an inner clear, almost invisible skin. That one is very difficult to remove, so just leave it on and put it in the press. Although 100% of the garlic clove is crushed, you will then have to remove the clear skin that is flattened against the inside of the press after each use with a knife before you can use the press again.This press is easy to clean once you have finished using it. However, just running the press under the tap to clean it will not ensure all of the garlic will be removed from the holes, especially in the fine mince arm. A small brush (I use a retired toothbrush) will make sure that the device is adequately cleaned. Alternatively, put the top handle and the mince arm in the dishwasher. No worries!This product works and works very well. I recommend you spend your money up front now and never worry about rebuying another garlic press.
