modvel gel enhanced seat cushion, true high density memory foam

I bought it because of my Back, Tailbone, Hips and Thighs. I developed some goofy issues with these areas. It's way better than the Crappy Crap we bought earlier that looks like it would do something like this product does, but it did exactly what it looked like it would do! NOTHING!! 2 for the Price of One!! Guess that should have been my Loved Ones First Clue. Get this if you'd like or needed Moderately Comforty Support where you might needed it.

Since so much of my day is spent online sitting, this cushion has provided much needed and appreciated comfort and relief. When considering the price vs. the benefit it provides over improved comfort and pain reduction/relief, there's no question. I don't skimp on my mattress/comforter/pillows for the very same reason - a third of my life spent in bed, so I'm going to make those hours as comfortable as possible. 5 hours a day in a chair calls for TLC and this cushion certainly provides that. I've spent $40 on far more useless and frivolous things. One thing I noted is larger people's disappointment due to the generous dimensions of their posterior vs. the size of the cushion. The makers should offer another version in a larger size.

With a the need to work from home these days, I was sitting on an oak kitchen chair. Pillows provided some comfort to the bum, but did not support my lower back. This product, which is advertised for helping with lower back issues, has helped to relieve the stress on my lower back, and while it is softer than the wooden chair, is quite a bit firmer than I anticipated. I've only used it a couple days, and I suspect the material will soften with use. I do wish it were maybe a bit smaller, both in terms of length and width, as the front hangs over the edge of my chair. So far, I am happy with this product; if anything changes down the road, I'll post an update.

This seat cushion arrival timing was perfect. My back was a little tight after walking and playing 18-hole of golf. I put the cushion on my recliner and felt the additional support and comfort.I've sat on a few different padded seat cushions over the years. Some are too soft, some are too hard, and some seem to press into my thighs. My initial impression of the Modvel Gel Seat Cushion is it's perfect for me.The flyer list a few features I can't accurately comment about. Yet, I do hope the cooling gel helps to make me feel cool. I do hope it helps me to forget about my back pain and discomfort. Also, I hope it helps me to maintain a comfortable back posture for hours. I will modify this review in a few weeks to address those points.This cushion is portable. It has a side handle for easy carrying, and it only weighs 2.3 pounds. The seat cushion cover is washable. Finally, it has a Lifetime Warranty. I actually hope it lasts a lifetime. If not, I will certainly contact the folks at [email protected].

Several other reviewers had said this cushion was very firm, which to me was a positive quality because I purchased this cushion primarily for a comfortable boost of height in my chair at work (and in my car). While the cushion is in fact very firm AND comfortable to start, after only 30-45 minutes of sitting on it at work it flattened almost completely and I wound up sinking down to about a quarter of an inch above my chair seat.I understand that memory foam does soften significantly and lose its rigidity after it warms up, however I had hoped that the cooling gel would not only keep me cool but also keep the memory foam cool AND firm. Unfortunately, it did not keep the foam cool and I sank down almost all the way back to my chair. I'm not a heavy person--125 pounds.The gel does provide a cooling effect for the first 20 minutes or so (so long as it starts out cool), but it warms to body temp pretty quickly and thus the foam begins to flatten out.Overall, I'm disappointed and I'm not going to recommend this product if you need a good amount of padding left after you sit on it for longer than 20 minutes.

This is one of, if not the best, purchases I have made. Why? Because it is a QUALITY product through and through. I have a troubled back and have to sit a lot, hours on end, often. This is a bit like sitting on a cloud i guess, soft but firm and by no means hard. Ahhhhh says it all. It has not diminished in dimensions at all. Washable quality cover.Want a picture of it? Look at this ad here on Amazon. Seriously, after an average of 12hrs per day for 530-ish days it looks just like the day I first sat on it. This is the real deal in superior quality.NOT one of those darn paid for reviews.I weight 180lb.

Super high quality foam and fabric cover. My 2018 Honda Goldwing came with a seat that is uncomfortable for my 6'5" body. So I took the staples out and removed the vinyl cover over the seat. I then cut 2 inches away from the foam of the seat back to provide more leg room. Then I cut down the foam sides of this seat pad to match the shape of the motorcycle seat. I can say that the gel in this seat is really true gel. I then replaced the seat vinyl and stapled it back around the perimeter of the seat pan. Huge improvement and low cost. The seat sits higher, is far softer and more comfortable, and there is more room between my knees and the front part of the faring.

I did not expect this seat cushion to be so extremely comfortable. I just wanted to add a bit of height to my office chair. But my first surprise was to notice they offered a gel-insert cushion. And I think that made all the difference, because in addition to the comfort (and extra height, of course) it also adds some support and I actually sit more upright in the chair. So yes, wow!, I would recommend this office chair seat cushion (with gel insert) to anyone looking for one at the moment. Since we are all spending more time in our home offices. Oh, almost forgot. It comes in a washable, zippered cover with a handle so you can carry it to your car or other office, or wherever! Two thumbs up!
