This filing cabinet is sturdy and was easy to assemble. I'm fairly handy and enjoy assembling furniture, and this cabinet was pretty straightforward. The drawer slides feel nice and smooth, and the drawers for securely.Only hickups were when testing the drawers for the first time. Make sure the cabinet is unlocked! This and other helpful tips are all in the instructions, so you should be fine as long as you take the time to read carefully.The box included everything you need (including a screwdriver), unless you plan to use the included wall anchors (which look very secure). It's optional to use them, but if you plan on installing them, you'll need a drill.All in, it took me about two hours to put together, which feels right for this type of furniture. Once it's assembled, it feels built like a tank!I looked at a ton of cabinets in person and online. My budget allowed for something more expensive, but I'm glad I didn't spend more for a "wood" cabinet somewhere else. This looks nice and will last a very long time.

Took us four hours to assemble but it looks great when finished. I would recommend a more detailed/complete assembly instructions because that’s what took us so long with the assembly, some steps are missing

This comes in a very heavy box, and once you get the parts all out it's a bit intimidating. Take it step by step and after the first drawer goes together, it's not difficult at all. DO have a better phillips screwdriver! There's probably 150 lbs in the finished cabinet, drawers and lock works well and it is NOT flimsy. Exactly what I wanted for my paperwork storage.

We needed a secure (locking) cabinet for files in my office. I thought this was a great deal... not realizing assembly was required. Overall it took me roughly 2 hours to assemble, without the aid of another person, and without needing a powered driver - though that may have saved me about a half hour, if it fit - clearance is tight. What I can say is that all of the problems that folks have mentioned are ones that I experienced, and here are the ways to resolve them:1. As with any assembly-required piece, check all your parts before you start assembling. Be aware that the included screwdriver CAN be used to complete this - I did it. However, you will need to be VERY careful and go slow so you don't strip out a screw head - you only have 2 extras.2. Check out the seller's YouTube video - they included info about their YouTube channel with the instructions. If you can't find them just go to YT and look for "Yitahome". Watch the video all the way through - it's only 3:11 minutes, well worth having it up so you can watch and pause between steps.3. Some of the directions in the written manual are in a different order than the video. Follow the video and use the printed manual as a secondary reference (see below regarding part M)4. The following tips are based on the instruction manual that came with mine, so yours may be different: * Step 2 - they have you assemble the back before attaching it to the sides. I found that made things difficult and ended up taking them apart and attaching each side of the back to the corresponding side piece, then attaching the backs in the center. This allowed me to use my body weight and the provided screwdriver to attach the sides. * when you get to step 4, skip and do step 5, then come back to 4. Putting the bottom panel in is a real struggle - it feels like it's not going to fit. Watch the video multiple times - you will get it and you won't have to force it. I tried forcing it once and ended up almost getting it irreversibly stuck. Again take your time. * step 6 has you putting the top on and going under it to put the screws in - don't bother. Flip the whole thing over so the cabinet is on top of the top. This allows you, again, to use body weight to get the screws in. *The drawer glides are not labeled - so you need to look at them to figure out which ones go on which side. * when you assemble the drawers - the video is lacking anything regarding part M - which is the inside of the drawer front. Put this in BEFORE you put the back of the drawer in - it'll prevent the front ends of the drawer sides from trying to fold in. *Attaching the glides to the drawers - several people mentioned that the top drawer is too tall. I ran into this as well and found a video in another review - you really have to manhandle the glides and pull up HARD until they snap loudly into place. Once I did that the drawers all closed fine. Another tip for the drawers - as long as you have the glides lined up with the part INSIDE the body of the cabinet, you can push them in even if they feel like they're binding up - just be firm and push evenly on both sides. A couple in/out motions and they slide beautifully.If you've done DIY assembled furniture you should have NO problem doing this in a couple of hours max.

It is absolutely perfect for what we needed. Good construction and materials. It is heavy too. The drawers are a bit weird in that you can only open one at a time and for my scatter brained self trying to find 10 things at once it's a little inconvenient but overall a good safety feature. It was easy enough to put together as long as you follow the instructions. Just make sure all the parts are separated! We thought we were missing parts but they were set perfectly together for shipping and it took us a quick minute to figure that out. Great product, we have every drawer fully loaded and it is holding up nicely. Drawers are quiet and it looks Fantastic in our office.

This filing cabinet fits perfectly and looks good too! So glad we decided to get it! My husband didn’t have any trouble getting this put together.
